Parking restrictions are already in place so crews can clear the way for thousands of Bloomsday runners on Sunday.
Workers began cleaning the race course on Monday morning, placing "No Parking" barriers on the sides of the roads to prevent people from parking there. Street sweeping will continue through Thursday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 3:30 in the afternoon.
On race day, taking the bus into the downtown area is probably the best way to get around. Shuttle tickets are available for $1.50. The buses run from various locations throughout Spokane beginning Sunday morning at 6:30.
