Meet Spokane's Newest Resident

MEAD, Wash. - Cat Tales Zoo is getting a new baby lion. The lion was previously in Sandusky, Ohio at a hotel chain. He was living in a small horse stall where people staying at the hotel could take pictures with him. However, the three-month-old lion outgrew his home and Cat Tales decided to rescue him.

Delta Airlines would not ship the lion to Spokane, so Mike Wysake and his wife had to drive to Ohio to pick up the 30-pound cub. Cat Tales Zoo lost it's male lion this year, so Wysake and his team think that the baby lion will make a great addition.

The lion still does not have a name. The crew at Cat Tales will come up with a list of names and then they will let the public have a say. This will most likely happen on Facebook.

The lion will be at his new home on Wednesday night.
