Fever prepare for Raptors for fourth time this season

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Fever will play the Everett Raptors this weekend. It is the fourth meeting between the teams this season. The Fever won the first three match-ups and all eight of their regular season games so far. The Raptors are 2-6. The fever say they hope to shut down Everett so they do not have to worry about seeing them again in the playoffs.

"We're just hoping to get up there, get a win and come home. If we let them hang around, it might be a fifth time. We might have to see them again in the playoffs. They're not out of it yet. I think we have the possibility of knocking them out of the playoff situation for good. We would like to do that so we don't have to play them another time," head coach Adam Shackleford said.
