SPOKANE, WA -- Ethiopian Mamitu Daska, who was second two years ago in the fastest women's race in Bloomsday history, dominated the field to win the 2012 Bloomsday Race.
Daska's time of 38:26 was one second off her pace in 2010, and is the third-best in Bloomsday history, and 7th best in the world.
American Janet Cherobon-Bawcom claimed 2nd place.
