San Jose Takes Top Spot in AFL Power Rankings; Shock No. 13

The San Jose SaberCats (6-2) took over the top spot in the AFL's Power Rankings on Monday, while the Spokane Shock (3-4) fell to No. 13 after a loss to the Utah Blaze over the weekend.

The Blaze (6-2), meanwhile, rose to No. 2, right behind the SaberCats. The former No. 1, Philadelphia (6-2), fell to No. 3 after losing to the Milwaukee Mustangs.

Chicago rose to No. 4, following by the San Antonio Talons.

The Shock's next opponent, New Orleans came in at No. 11. The VooDoo have an identical 3-4 record with the Shock. The two teams meet Friday at Spokane Arena at 8 p.m. The game cam be seen live on SWX-TV, on SWXRightNow.com and on mobile devices throughout Eastern Washington on the Syncbak app.
