SPOKANE, Wash. - Around 11am Monday a forensic unit began processing a car which may be connected to the stolen car battery found at the scene of Sharlotte McGill's murder.

The car belongs to a resident of the apartment complex McGill had just moved into prior to her death. Police say the car had it's battery stolen, and the forensics team is now scouring it for fingerprints, DNA or any articles which may have been left behind by the suspect.

Police say if the car provides any leads it may help them crack the case and find Sharlotte McGill's murderer.
