SPOKANE, Wash. - Just over two weeks ago Sharlotte Mcgill was killed along the Spokane River and her death still remains a mystery.

Today friends gathered to remember the woman they say could make anyone smile.

In a celebration of her life, Sharlotte's family members and friends shared stories, laughed and did their best to hold back tears remembering the 55-year-old mother with the infectious laugh.

Her daughter Billie thanked everyone for the love and prayers she has received calling all of the support priceless.

She described her mother as a passionate, one of a kind woman who loved music and her job but most of all a person who saw the good in the world.

On a Thursday morning, two weeks ago while walking her dog, Sharlotte was stabbed and killed in a seemingly random attack.

Her friends and family have been left trying to make sense of such a tragic loss and answer why someone would take her from them.

Daniel Legg worked with Sharlotte for a little less than a year.

He was happy to see the large turnout today and saying Sharlotte just had a way with everyone that very few people have.

"It shows to me Sharlotte touches everyone. I'm gonna miss her," Legg said Saturday morning.

Police have yet to name a suspect in Sharlotte's murder and is still asking for help from the community.

Her attacker is described as a black male in his 30s with a bad eye. He ma possibly be a transient or car prowler who just happened to be in the area that fateful morning.
