Former Gonzaga great Adam Morrison concluded his three-day mini-camp with the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Whether he will get a call back is still up in the air.

Adam, long-hair and all, showed up and reportedly played well – especially on the second day.

"He's made a few more shots today – he's a shot maker," said coach Avery Johnson on Tuesday. "[He is] a shot taker and a shot maker."

But asked whether anyone at the camp stood out above the rest on Wednesday, Johnson refused to tip his cap.

"If they did I wouldn't tell you!" he said with a smile to the reporter who asked him the question. "But we have two or three guys that we like."

Surely, Morrison must be hoping he is one of those two or three guys who will get a shot to play this summer and prove he is ready to return to the NBA.

Also at the Nets camp were Al Thornton, whom Johnson said "looked pretty good", Ben Hansbrough, Jeff Foote, Jae Crowder, Casper Ware, Kyle O'Quinn and Tony Mitchell. There were 22 players in all.

"As Adam [Morrison] said the other day, ‘it's about getting an opportunity to play'," said General Manager Billy King on Wednesday.

Good luck, Adam.
