KHQ.COM - We're still expecting to see some clouds, isolated showers and the chance of a few lightning strikes tonight, but most of that will be in the mountains of NE Washington and N. Idaho Panhandle. For all intents and purposes we are starting to transition to a calmer and more stable pattern that will bring normal temperatures and a little more sunshine through Thursday.

We're "tracking a storm" now out in the Pacific that should arrive Friday night, into Saturday. That will bring with it rain and very gusty winds in places on Saturday. Get the barbecuing in sometime during the week as the weekend could be a little iffy.

Wednesday: Partly/Mostly cloudy...winds from the south 5-10 mph...High temp 68°

Thursday: Mainly cloudy, winds out of the south 5-10 mph...high temp 73°

Friday: Partly sunny skies, increasing clouds by evening...high temp 73°

Saturday: Mostly cloudy...good chance we see rain...gusty winds and high of 68°

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - The Idaho Department of Fish and Game wants to warn you about a grizzly bear that's been roaming around the Athol and Garwood area. Multiple people have reported seeing it, and wildlife officers have set up a trap to catch it, but so far they've been having trouble finding it. KHQ spoke with one woman who says the bear walked through her yard.
