SPOKANE, Wash. - It's a story we've told too many times here at KHQ. A garage completely destroyed by fire. However, one alert neighbor noticed something suspicious Saturday morning and thanks to his quick action, we get to not only tell the story of how a garage fire never happened, but we also have the two arsonists caught on tape.

It happened at about 6:15am on Saturday when one man, who wanted to remain anonymous, in the neighborhood of Lidgerwood and Everett noticed something fishy on his security camera. He saw two men in his alley, pouring some sort of accelerant on his neighbor's garage and light it on fire. The two men then ran off, but not before they showed their faces on tape.

Thanks to the neighbor watching it all unfold on his security camera, he was able to put the flames out quickly before the fire got out of hand.

The Spokane Fire Department is investigating the incident, and if you recognize the two men in the video, you are asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
