POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - Snow in June? That could be the case for southeastern Idaho, where the National Weather Service has issued advisories across the region warning of freezing temperatures and high winds for later this week.

The Idaho State Journal in Pocatello reports (http://bit.ly/vqRARX ) the week's coldest temperatures are expected late Wednesday and early Thursday, and there could be snowfall in the region's higher elevations.

Any snow accumulations are expected to be minimal. The weather service says temperatures are expected to warm back up later Thursday and on Friday, going from a high of about 50 degrees Wednesday, up to the 60- or 70-degree range later in the week.

Less than 100 miles to the north of Pocatello, temperatures in Rexburg and Rigby could dip as low as 29 degrees late Wednesday.
