SPD Sergeant: 'It's The Most Drugs I've Found In 29 Years'

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. - On Friday morning the Spokane Police Special Investigative Unit executed an undercover drug bust in north Spokane.

They arrested 53-year-old Daniel Inwood on multiple charges. They executed a search warrant on the home at 559 East Crown and found nearly a pound of heroin, $10,000 in cash and multiple fire arms.

The sergeant working on the case told KHQ that in his 29 years as a police officer he had never seen such a large amount of heroin in one place.

He said he lost count of the number of guns confiscated at the house, but there were handguns, shotguns, and assault rifles. Inwood is a convicted felon, so he will be facing more charges for possessing a firearm.
