ALERT: Detectives Need Help Finding Missing Spokane Valley Man

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - On Monday, June 11, 2012, 49 year old Gregory Kachur's mother contacted a Sheriff's Deputy at the Spokane Valley Precinct. Kachur's mother told the deputy that Kachur was last seen on Thursday, May 31st, around 6:30 p.m. Kachur's current job is watching over his mother at her residence near the 9400 block of East Montgomery Avenue in Spokane Valley.

Kachur was supposed to watch his mother on Monday, June 4th, but never showed up. She advised this was not common for Kachur as he had never done this in the past. Kachur was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket and dark colored pants. Kachur's mother said he usually would go to the CHAS clinic if he had any medical needs.

The fire is burning in a residential area and neighbors we talked to say they are very worried about their homes. It's not clear how the fire started, but when nearby homeowners saw smoke they ran out with shovels to try and stamp it out.>>
