The Mariners will remain in the southwest as they kick off a 3 game series against the San Diego Padres Friday night at PETCO Park.

Both squads will be looking to bounce back from series defeats, as the Texas Rangers swept the Padres and the Mariners dropped two of three to Arizona over the week.

Seattle's Friday night projected starter Kevin Millwood has emerged victorious in all three of his outings in San Diego, and has posted a career 8-2 record against the Padres.

Millwood will attempt to keep his record unscathed in San Diego Friday at 7:05 PM.
