COURT DOCUMENTS: Knife And Cash Found In Tahoe

SPOKANE, Wash. - It's now been more than a week since Charles Wallace shot two Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies and we continue to learn new details about the incident that left both of those deputies wounded.

Wallace was the passenger in a '97 Tahoe at the time that the vehicle was pulled over. As the deputies approached, Wallace exited the vehicle, opened fire and fired off ten shots in ten seconds. He hit Deputy Spink once and Deputy Northway four times. He eventually stole a car and that is what he used for the chase, but we now know what police obtained from the Tahoe after performing a search warrant.

Among other items, the court documents showed that investigators pulled a BB gun, survival knife and more than 2500 dollars cash. We will continue to follow this story closely and update you as new developments become available. Deputy Spink has been released from the hospital, Deputy Northway remains at Sacred Heart as of Wednesday morning.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Six-year-old Denny Curran should be enjoying his last few days of summer before first grade. He should be teasing his brother, splashing in the pool, giving his parents a hard time about vegetables. Instead, Denny is dead, the victim of a horrific, freak bicycle accident that could happen to your child too. "Denny was an extraordinary child," his father Keith Curran told KHQ.
