Fever quarterback Lillard prepares for Wichita defense

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Second-team all-IFL quarterback Houston Lillard will try to lead the Fever back to the United Bowl championship. Friday Tri-cities will host the Wichita Wild. Lillard is in his third season with the Fever. Monday he closely watched Wichita's semifinal game live. Lillard wants to pick out as many details he can to help the Fever win.

"They play a lot of man-to-man, so I have to be very accurate. Their defensive line is good. I think they have the IFL sack leader on their team in Moss or Miles. Their secondary is very opportunistic. So any ball I throw a little to the left or a little behind, they could take advantage of it and turn it into an interception. So my biggest thing is being accurate," Lillard said.
