Car Crashes Into House In Spokane Valley; Driver Arrested

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Police arrested a man Sunday evening who crashed in car into a house at the intersection of 31st and University in Spokane Valley.

Police on scene say the driver was traveling southbound on University when he tried to pass a car at a very high rate of speed. He ended up losing control and jumping a curb, flipping his car and crashing into a house.

The driver was actually able to get out of the car and flee the scene, however, witness followed him and were able to successfully lead police to him. He faces multiple charges including Hit and Run.

The roadway is now clear.
