SPOKANE, Wash. -

Just a few days after being drafted into the NBA, former Zag Rob Sacre said life is good. As a Laker.

Sacre enjoyed Hoopfest in downtown Spokane over the weekend. The 60th-overall pick in the draft said he remembers last Thursday night very well.

"It was the longest day of my life, no question," he said. "It was just intense – really intense. There's nothing like it, I'm speechless. It's a great feeling to be a part of a great organization. It's awesome, I'm going to the Lakers. You can't really complain."

Sacre, ever the optimist, says he is looking forward to what he can become.

"I want to be a part of a team that can help me get better… I'm just excited to be a part of it," he said.

Good luck, Rob Sacre!
