After a record start the Seattle Sounders are trying to pull out of a midseason nosedive.
The Sounders' winless streak has now spanned two months in MLS play, and they haven't scored a single goal in their last nine matches.
Wednesday's 0-0 draw against Salt Lake was their fifth draw during the streak to go with four losses.
Head coach Sigi Schmid said after the match his offense needs to kick it up a notch if the team is going to give this streak the boot.
Seattle's next match is Saturday at home against Colorado.
