A private petroleum company located in Latah, WA has a immediate need for a TANKER TRUCK DRIVER  to drive 4200 gallon truck delivering heating oil, diesel and gas to residences in farming country. Will also be responsible filling trucks with fuel from storage tanks. Applicant must have CDL A with HazMat and Tanker endorsements and DOT Medical Card.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- CDL A with Haz Mat and Tanker endorsement and DOT Medical Card

- 3 to 5 years experience with tankers

- Some experience delivering fuel

Must be prepared and able to demonstrate the following qualifications at the time of referral:

- High School diploma or equivalency

- Able to pass criminal background check and DOT drug screen

- Able to lift up to 100 pounds on occasion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 to 5 years experience delivering fuel and fuel oil

- Previous customer service experience

- Proximity to Latah/Spokane Valley

HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:

35 hours per week daytime hours,  days and shifts will vary but will include some weekend days; public transportation not available

SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience; benefits include Medical health care allowance, vacation, holidays, and sick leave after qualifying period.

The position includes a variety of duties including commercial office furniture installations, relocations, move services, and deliveries with company vehicles, additionally will help move confidential documents, perform courier activities, warehouse receiving, tracking, and material handling. The successful applicants will also be responsible for operating company vehicles (trucks under 26,000 G.V.W such as straight trucks, high cube vans, and courier vans) mainly within the Spokane / N. Idaho area, with an occasional possible overnight to other locations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Current valid drivers license

- Demonstrated mechanical ability

- Previous experience with hand tools and able to follow assembly instructions
