Woman Survives Crash As Dozens Of Poles Impale Windshield

KOMOTV.COM/DEMING, Wash. -- Troopers say a woman is lucky to be alive after dozens of long poles impaled her car during a crash near Deming.

A couple in a station wagon was pulling trailer full of 27-foot long "tipi poles" along the Mount Baker Highway around 9:45 Tuesday when they slowed for dump truck turning by Everson Goshen Road, said Trooper Keith Leary. click here to read more

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police responded to an armed robbery on Spokane's south hill. It happened just before midnight when police say a man walked into the 7-11 at 30th & Regal, displayed what appeared to be a revolver and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle.
