SALUTING THE BRAVE: Remains Of Fallen Soldier Return To Idaho

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) - The body of a Preston soldier killed earlier this month in Afghanistan is due to return in Idaho on Wednesday.
    
Cody O. Moosman died in action in Gayan Alwara Mandi on July 3. The Idaho State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/NkjCJ6) that he was posthumously promoted from private first class to the rank of specialist
    
The remains of the 24-year-old soldier are scheduled to arrive in Logan, Utah, from Dover Air Force Base on Wednesday morning.
    
The transfer ceremony is not public. Preston police officials say those who wish to pay their respects are expected to line the route along Highway 91 between Franklin and Preston.
    
A funeral is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the LDS North Stake Center with the burial to follow.

One of the teens told police that they messaged Anderson asking if he would sell them meth for $40.

Brittany Korzonthowski was initially charged with attempted murder for shooting Caleb Tipton. Tipton was taken off life support last week. In a court hearing Monday, Korzonthowski was charged with first degree murder.

    RATHDRUM, Idaho - Members of the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office and the Northern Lakes Fire Department responded to a fatal crash in Rathdrum late Saturday morning. A citizen reported that a truck struck a motorcycle carrying two people in the intersection at W. Lancaster Rd. and N. Huetter Rd.
