Boy Hit By Truck Near Athol, Idaho

ATHOL, Idaho - Kootenai County Emergency crews responded to a report of a person hit by a vehicle, Friday afternoon at 12:30. When they arrived they found a nine year-old boy who was breathing but unresponsive.

MedStar transported the boy to an area hospital. Idaho State Patrol is investigating the wreck. KHQ is working on getting more information.

At this time there is no word on the condition of the boy. The scene has been cleared.
