SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. - Washington State Patrol is investigating a three-car crash on Newport Hwy., just south of Riverside. The wreck happened shortly before midday on Friday. Several people were injured and transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash happened when the driver of a white sedan traveling south on Newport Hwy. crossed the centerline and clipped a gray pickup. The pickup was forced into a trailer being pulled by another truck and ended up on the shoulder of the highway on its rooftop.
There's no word on citations at this point. WSP is continuing their investigation but there are no lane blockages due to the wreck.
