In some areas, the storm dumped rain at rate of up to an inch per hour, although official measurements weren't expected to be confirmed until early evening.
Friday's storm also produced dangerous hail in some places. A KHQ viewer in the Moses Lake area confirmed hail about an inch in diameter. Others reported seeing hailstones the size of golf balls.
