Brush fire Closes I-90 Near Vantage

KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. - A brush fire closed I-90 for a short time Friday morning. According to a Washington State Patrol spokesman, a car traveling along I-90 hit a hay truck, crashed, and caught fire. The car fire sparked a 300 acre wildfire.

Authorities closed I-90 from Vantage to Kittitas but set up a detour on the Old Vantage Highway. I-90 is open at this time. There were minor injuries associated with the wreck.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Spokane Police responded to an armed robbery on Spokane's south hill. It happened just before midnight when police say a man walked into the 7-11 at 30th & Regal, displayed what appeared to be a revolver and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene on a bicycle.
