PINEHURST, Idaho - Investigators in Shoshone County are looking into a possible overnight arson at the Pinehurst Golf Course.
We are still waiting for official word from investigators, but the owners of the course told KHQ Saturday that Friday night someone broke out a back window of the club shop with a shovel, poured gasoline or some kind of accelerant in the clubhouse and set it on fire. Nothing appeared to have been stolen or otherwise vandalized.
We are told there is heavy smoke damage, but the building is still standing, and the course is still open for business.
