CONSUMER ALERT: Bad News For Airline Travelers

HUFFINGTONPOST.COM - Get ready to spend more on travel. Airlines are raising ticket prices again after a long lull that coincided with falling fuel costs.

Over the weekend several big airlines matched United Airlines' increase in base fares of up to $10 per round trip within the U.S.

Fare watchers said it was virtually certain that the new prices would stick, resulting in the fourth fare increase this year and the first since late March. click here to read more

    PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. - Authorities say a total of 13 train cars jumped the tracks Monday in a deadly Amtrak derailment south of Seattle. Washington State Patrol spokeswoman Brooke Bova says the train had 12 cars and two engines traveling between Tacoma and Portland, Oregon.

    SPOKANE, Wash.- There's just something about this time of year that brings out the best in so many. One 12-year-old boy was the recent recipient of a random act of kindness. He's hopeful what happened to him will inspire others to help out strangers as well. Kai Richerson told KHQ he would do just about anything to see his mom smile.
