Firefighters In Kootenai County Put Out 10 Fires At Ross Point Campground; One Person In Custody

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - Tuesday around 3:28PM crews from Kootenai County Fire & Rescue and Idaho Department of Lands were dispatched for a grass fire at the Ross Point Baptist Campground.

While en route more 9-1-1 calls were received for different fires in the adjacent Kiwanis Park. There were 10 fires total that were found. All were extinguished almost immediately and the largest was 10 x 20.  

Jordan Payne was taken into custody in connection with the fires.
