Oprah Under Fire For Television Special

HUFFINGTONPOST.COM - Oprah Winfrey has come under fire for her highly publicized television special on India, multiple outlets reported on Tuesday.

The queen of daytime visited India in January and created a two-part special about her trip for her cable network, OWN. While the program, which aired on "Oprah's Next Chapter," debuted in the U.S. in April, the special premiered in India last week.

Critics in India called Oprah's special "ignorant" and said it reinforced stereotypical representations of the country. click here to read more
