82-Year-Old Man Dies In Car Fire In Okanogan County

MALOTT, Wash. (AP) - A man died in a car fire near the town of Malott in Okanogan County.

Sheriff Frank Rogers told The Wenatchee World (http://is.gd/H0dV57 ) emergency responders found the body in the burning car Tuesday off the end of a driveway.

Rogers says 82-year-old Neil Burnett may have suffered some medical event that caused him to leave the driveway.

The car high-centered on a bale of hay and caught fire.

Twenty-year-old Michelle Childers and her husband, 22-year-old Daniel Childers, were taking a recreational drive along the Lochsa River on September 5. Michelle says they had driven down a dead end road and were on their way back out when, somehow, a limb from a spruce tree came through the passenger window and impaled her neck.>>
