Phelps Still Seeking London Gold, Olympic History

TODAYSHOW.COM - Through two and a half days at the Olympics, Michael Phelps is still without a gold medal.

He hopes that will change Tuesday night.

Phelps advanced to tonight's 200m butterfly semifinals this morning, recording the fifth-fastest time in the field – 1:55.53. He looked tired, sluggish and not at the top of his game during the swim. He seemed to take longer strokes than normal at the walls. But that was just fine with the 17-time Olympic medalist. All he needed to do was get into the top 16.

She ran to her neighbor's house and the neighbor contacted the Pierce County Sheriff's Office at around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday. Arriving deputies spoke with the neighbor who called 911.

    BROWNESVILLE, Texas (AP) - A Texas man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for stealing $1.2 million worth of fajitas over nine years.    Fifty-three-year-old Gilberto Escamilla was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty to theft by a public servant. The Brownsville Herald reports he told the court the fajita scheme spun out of control.
