For this week's fishing segment we took a little trip to Fish Lake, located just a few miles west of Spokane and outside of Cheney.

Fish Lake is a nice, 47-acre piece of paradise nestled in the hills. The lake has Atlantic brook trout and tiger trout just waiting to be caught.

I tried fishing from the shore using a sinking bobber and a fly. I tried a worm, and even got into a float tube to see what I could pick up along the lilly pads.

Fish Lake is one of those places you can enjoy with the whole family. There's fishing on the lake, hiking trails and a swimming area – not to mention the playground!
