UPDATE: Firefighters Attack Brush Fire South Of Reardan

KHQ.COM - On Wednesday afternoon firefighters in Lincoln County knocked down a brush fire 5 to 10 acres in size just south of Reardan on Whispering Pines Road, east of Highway 231. 

At one point six homes were threatened. Authorities tell KHQ photographer Dave Somers that the fire started in a well house, which was destroyed. There was no immediate word on what sparked the fire.   

Crews attacked the fire on the ground and from the air. No injuries were reported.
