BONNER COUNTY, Idaho - The woman accused of hitting and killing off duty Spokane police officer Kurt Henson with her truck is out of jail.

Brianna Knapp, 28, was released from the Bonner County jail Wednesday afternoon at the request of the Bonner County prosecutor. Knapp pled not guilty to two misdemeanor charges, one being, driving without privileges the other is not having proof of insurance. She is also being charged with one Felony count of fleeing the scene of an accident resulting in injury or death. Knapp did not enter a plea for the Felony count, instead at the request of prosecutors the preliminary hearing was moved to September 5th in which she may enter a plea.

Bonner County prosecutor Louis Marshall says Knapp has "Extensive Ties" to the area and was deemed not a flight risk. Knapp was released under only one condition, that she not violate any laws. Marshall says that this is "Not Un common" in a case like this and that the investigation is still on going.
