KHQ LAKE WEEK: Matt Rogers Visits Waitts Lake!

Posted: Updated:

MATT ROGERS: Spend a little time with Nick Grmolyes, the owner of Silver Beach Resort at Waitts Lake, and you'll see the charm in this place. Nick has been running the resort for nearly 25 years, and does he have some stories to tell! He is also the chef at Nick's Dinner House at the resort, and the locals tell me it's some of the best food in the area.

While the resort is used primarily by returning seasonal lake goers, there are a few cabins and RV spots you can rent. Waitts lake is great for swimming, fishing and water recreation and is located in Stevens County, a few miles south of Chewelah. Visit silverbeachresort.net for more information!
