Professorship Endowment Started In Pullman For The Voice Of The Cougs: Mayor Glenn Johnson

Posted: Updated:

PULLMAN, Wash. - It surely is an exciting time for Cougar athletics with Coach Mike Leach taking the helm in Pullman, but there is so much more going on at WSU including a new endowment that any fan can contribute to that benefits academics more than athletics.

Alumni of the Murrow School of Communication started the Glenn Johnson Professorship Endowment that will allow professors to get a little more money added to their salary and the school to recruit teaching talent from across the world.

They are calling the effort "Another Cougar First Down" and all Cougar fans have to do is pledge a certain amount, it can be as small as a dollar, and donate that every time the Cougars make a first down. To become a part of the effort you can go to their website by CLICKING HERE
