Idaho Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash; 6 Year-Old Girl Injured

BLACKFOOT, Idaho (AP) - A Blackfoot man has died and a 6-year-old girl was injured after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a vehicle in Blackfoot.
    
Police have arrested the driver of the other vehicle on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
    
Blackfoot police say 36-year-old Brent Hansen of Blackfoot died at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls of injuries suffered in the crash at about 9:40 p.m. Thursday. The extent of the girl's injuries was not immediately available. She was taken to the hospital in Blackfoot.
    
The case has been submitted to the Bingham County prosecutor's office for formal charges.
