Former Indian Mike Olt Successful in Debut With Texas Rangers

Former Spokane Indians Mike Olt made his Major League debut on Thursday, and what a debut it was!

Olt, called up by the Texas Rangers, started at first base against the Angels and hit a single during his first at-bat. He finished the game 1-for-3. The Rangers won the game 15-9.

Olt played in Spokane in 2010 and is the 29th former Indian since 2003 to be called up to MLB.
