Post Falls Little Leaguers Advance to NW Regional Finals

The boys of summer from Post Falls will play on in their quest to make the Little League World Series.

Post Falls beat Montana 3-2 Thursday afternoon at Houghton Stadium in San Bernadino, Calif. The game was shown live on ESPN2. They gave up two runs in the first inning, then scored twice in the third and once more in the fifth.

Jake Shelton had two RBI, and pitcher Jake Pfennigs got the win for Post Falls.

Post Falls will play the winner between Oregon (Greshman National LL) on Saturday. The winner advances to the World Series in Williamsport, Penn.
