UPDATE: The bomb was just sitting there, it was not in a backpack. It was on the right side of the walkway up to the bridge, closest to the trees. There are no suspects at this time. Spokane police urge anyone with information to call Crime Check.

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Police Department Explosives Detail Unit is on the scene right now of a sparkler bomb. All lanes of eastbound I-90 will be closed for a short time while the team removes the device from the base of the pedestrian overpass near 3rd and Regal. 3rd Ave. will also be closed at Altamont
