This month the Northwest Cancer Clinic, in cooperation with the American Cancer Society, will be holding a free prostate screening at their clinic in Kennewick. It's for men over the age of 50 who may not be able to afford a prostate screening.
A screening can significantly reduce the chances of prostate cancer, which is the most common cause of death from cancer in men over age 75.
All men over 50 are encouraged to sign up for a screening.
The screenings will be held on August 22nd and 25th.
The clinic is located at 7379 W. Deschutes in Kennewick and can be reached at 509-987-1800.
You can read more about the screenings in the current issue of Tu Decides the bilingual newspaper.
