Spokane, WA - In a night ruled by the longball, it was a dribbler off the end of the bat that sealed the Spokane Indians' fate. With the score tied at six in the top of the 12th, Everett's Patrick Kivlehan cued a ball down the third base line and Marcus Littlewood beat the throw home from Spokane's Carlos Melo (1-1) as the AquaSox defeated the Indians 7-6 in front of 4,120 fans at Avista Stadium for Indians Baseball Card Giveaway & Pre-Game Ride the Bases Event presented by U.S. Linen, KHQ, and 98.9 KKZX.

The AquaSox lineup flexed their considerable clout for the second consecutive night, as Mike Zunino, Taylor Ard, and Kivlehan connected on back-to-back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning to push Everett's advantage to 6-1.

Spokane answered the AquaSox barrage with a big fly of their own, as Preston Beck connected on a three-run shot just to the left of The Black Book Depot to bring the Indians within two runs. That score would stand until the seventh inning when Patrick Cantwell tied the game with a two-out, two-run single to center off Blake Hauser.

Indians starter C.J. Edwards was nothing short of spectacular in another dominant performance, holding Everett to one run over four innings while striking out seven. Edwards brilliant start was backed up by Jon Edwards and Josh McElwee who each pitched two scoreless frames of relief.

Cantwell finished the game with a season-high five hits while Gabriel Roa and Ryan Rua each chipped in a pair of base knocks.
