Motorcyclist Dies In North Cascades Highway Crash

BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) - A 35-year-old Mount Vernon man was killed Sunday when he crashed his motorcycle on the North Cascades Highway east of Diablo.
    
The State Patrol told The Bellingham Herald (http://is.gd/bGieDr ) Sky Allen Suiter was eastbound on state Highway 20 when he lost control of his motorcycle. He crashed on a curve at Milepost 136 near Ross Lake in southeastern Whatcom County.
    
The accident report says Suiter was riding too fast for conditions,.
    
Patrol spokeswoman Laurie Prettyman the accident backed up traffic on the heavily traveled two-lane highway through the mountain pass for at least two hours.

    UPDATE: Originally the death toll was reported to be 91 people and counting, however, the Medical examiner's office revised the death toll from the Oklahoma tornado to at least 24 people. A spokeswoman said Tuesday morning that she believes some victims were counted twice in the early chaos of the storm.
