OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jay Inslee has released five years of tax returns.
Documents provided to The Associated Press on Tuesday show that the Inslee's earned about $237,000 in 2011. That includes his congressional salary, $33,000 that his wife earned as a consultant and a $45,000 distribution from a personal retirement account.
The couple reported giving $3,600 to charity and paying about $46,000 in taxes.
Inslee's campaign is calling on Republican candidate Rob McKenna to also release tax returns. A spokesman for McKenna did not immediately return a call seeking a response.
