Four Walk-Ons Join Cougar Football Program

Washington State on Thursday added four new walk-ons to its football program, three of which are local products.

Freshmen Michael Newman and Tyler Baker are receivers. Newman is from Cle Elum, while Baker comes to the program from Ole Miss.

The Cougars are also getting help for the defense with linebacker David Johnson and defensive back Beau Glover. Both players from natives of Washington. Johnson is from Lakewood, Wash., and Glover is from Gig Harbor, Wash.
