Padron Wins Starting Job for Eagles

Cheney, WA -- The wait is over for Eastern Washington as Head Coach Beau Baldwin named his starting quarterback today. He's going with the SMU-Transfer Kyle Padron.

The Junior had been battling with the Freshman Vernon Adams all fall camp for the starting job. In two fall scrimmages, Padron combined for over 300 yards and a touchdown.

It was  a very tough decision to make.
