The high school football season on SWX begins this week, with seven televised games in three days. First up: Graham-Kapowsin at Post Falls in a Washington-Idaho non-conference matchup.
Graham-Kapowsin, from Washington's west side, crosses into Idaho Thursday night to play the Trojans in both teams' first game of the season. The game starts at 7 p.m. and can be seen on SWX, SWXRightNow.com and via the Syncbak app on mobile devices*.
The other game of note Thursday night is the first game of the Greater Spokane League schedule. Shadle Park plays Rogers at Joe Albi Stadium at 6:15 p.m.
The high school season kicks into high gear Friday night with games across both states. SWX will carry the West Linn (Ore.) vs. Coeur d'Alene game in the Spokane-North Idaho area. Viewers in the Tri-Cities and Yakima regions will see Richland vs. Southridge. All three games have a 7 p.m. start time and will be seen on TV, online and on mobile devices through Syncbak.
The WIAA Kickoff Classic is Saturday at Roos Field in Cheney. Four games will be played on the red turf at Roos Field, with the first game at 10 a.m. All four games will be televised on SWX. Webcast versions of the games can be seen on the WIAA Network.
