SPOKANE, Wash. - Rachel Mace has designed more than 20 articles of clothing in the past year, but they are not made out of fabric.

All of Mace's outfits are made out of trash. She uses garbage bags, pop can tabs, Saran Wrap, and aluminum foil. What makes Mace even more unique is what she is doing in September.

Mace was invited to the New York Fashion Week on September 13th which is a high honor.

Mace can't wait to head out to the Big Apple and is still fundraising for the costs of traveling and shipping her dresses out.

She will be having a car wash from 9:00am to noon on Saturday morning at the car wash plaza at Nevada and Lyons.
