Background: Dan English is a native of Kootenai County and has a lifetime record of positive contributions to his communities through his past elected positions as a County Clerk, Cd'A City Council, and Cd'A School Board Trustee. He has been an active volunteer for many agencies and boards and is the founder and former Executive Director of two local non-profits, Anchor House and North Idaho Youth for Christ.

1)    Help restore bi-partisan balance to the Idaho Legislature
2)    Work to ensure a quality education system that benefits all our citizens
3)    We need a strong Idaho Economy focusing on job creation
4)    I believe in local control and local options vs. unfunded state mandates & top down control
5)    I will work to implement and practice strong ethical standards for our state elected officials
